Italeri: Panzerwerfer 42 Ausf.Maultier
The use of multiple rocket launchers by the German Armed Forces during World War II was quite extensive due to low cost and high efficiency of these arms systems. The main inconvenience of these vehicles was scarce mobility which made them vulnerable to enemy counter attacks. Thus, this mobile version of a 150 mm rocket-launcher type 42 was mounted on a half-truck Sd.Kfz. 4 Maultier, which guaranteed high mobility in off-road conditions. The vehicle was equipped with armour to protect its crew.
Italeri: M10 Achilles Tank Destroyer
The United States M10 Tank Destroyer was supplied to British forces through Lend-Lease, a program of aid to nations at war against Germany and its allies. Its main armament was considered under-performing by the British, who replaced the 3” gun with the AT 17-pounder that was already installed on the “Firefly” Sherman tanks.
The M10 had its baptism of fire during the Battle of Normandy, and from the following autumn it was sent to Italy and assigned to Antitank Regiments. Polish, Neo-zealand and South African forces employed it.
The 17-pounder gun was feared by the German tank crews because it could compete with and destroy the majority of their tanks. Spotters (infantrymen that were deployed with the tanks to defend them from personal anti-tank weapons, and acted as observers thanks to their better field of vision) were ordered to alert at once when they spotted such tanks, and to send forward the tank-killers to deal with them.
About 1100 tanks were converted and right after the war the British supplied them to various European armies being reconstituted.

Italeri: 1/48 scale Autoblinda AB 43
The AB 43 armoured car is an evolution from the previous AB 40 and 41 models. Equipped with a new larger turret, its main weapon was the 20MM calibre Breda 35, with a co-axial 8MM machine gun.
Unfortunately the AB 43 never entered into service with the Italian army as its production was only started in 1944 under the control of the German forces, which had occupied the Italian industry following the armistice in September 1943.
These vehicles were distributed to many German units operating at the Italian front. They were used particularly for controls and by the police in the northern regions, which was subject to great partisan resistance. The few examples that survived were used by the police to maintain public order after the war.

Italeri: M1097 A2 Cargo Carrier The Humvee (an acronym of High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle) project was born at the end of the 70s when the United States Army issued a call for tenders for a new tactical and reconnaissance vehicle with all-terrain capacity and durable frame.
Perceived as the natural evolution of the Jeep, the Humvee gradually became the standard reconnaissance vehicle of the U.S. Military. Produced by the U.S. based AM General, the Humvee features an imposing size and four-wheel drive that make it easy to drive it cross-country on any kind of terrain and in any weather.
In 1995, the A2 series was planned, featuring many upgrades. First of all, the Humvee was fitted with the powerful and reliable V-8 6.500 cc Diesel engine that, despite the vehicle’s weight of 4,6 tons, could give it a speed of 65 mph. The Humvee’s payload (almost 2 tons) is remarkable, too. The troop carrier version also includes room to sit eight fully-equipped troops in addition to the two front seats.
