Dartz Kombat T98 SUV, is not a real military vehicle in the sense of the term. But how can we describe a LUXURY SUV that is capable of resisting bullets at up to 12.7 mm, Shotguns, mines and ramming?  This Luxury SUV monster is powered by an 8.1 litre Vortec V8, capable of 180 km/h , so it makes it the faarmored off-road vehicles in the world.

The T-98 Kombat is built by Kombat Armouring a company with more then 20 years experience in the armoring vehicles and luxury cars market. The company still makes military vehicles though this is their first Luxury SUV for Civil market.

This Luxury SUV is the fastest heavy armored all-road vehicle in the world with the unique protection capabilities from level B2 to the highest level – B7, also available STANAG NATO protection level 3/4, it includes protection from 12,7 mm bullet(heavy machineguns), this level of protection not available to any armoring passenger vehicles and using for light tank. There are two base versions of the Combat T-98. For the custom market it is Combat T-98, “VIP”. Plus: high mobility armored vehicle – 5-door station wagon, armored troop carrier – 3-door panel truck, fast attack vehicle – 4-door pickup truck, infantry vehicle for special operations – 2-door pickup truck.

It is based on GM components, including 8.1l 400HP or 6.0L Vortek engine, Allison 6sp. automatic transmission and GM HD suspensions from light 4X4 Track. The vehicles can be with no frame for heavy armoring or on the frame based for light version. Suspensions mounted directly to full welded double steel body. All the “VIP” Combats have full options including ABS, airbags, auto climate control, message- information center, full electric options, High quality leather and wood in the interior, just like any Luxury Cars.

Luxury SUV  “Utility” Combat (the different interiors, engine is diesel, painting, there is gun ports and roof gun ring also more strong suspensions) is for the special operation, some of the troops or police use, with a few types of the body specialty design, the engine is 365HP diesel and 6-speed ZF manual or automatic transmission. Off-road COMBAT characteristics are provided by the quality and reliability of 2009 model General Motors Company component parts.

The armored body of this Luxury Suv is made by high-quality Germany bulletproof steels, the body is extraordinary strong. COMBAT has the double body made on the base “metal-ceramic sandwich with cellular filler” technology. This technology allows obtaining high-level protection in comparison with modern civil armored cars. It is impossible to mount such armor, even on so famed car as HUMMER. 50mm glass bears the shot of shotgun with armor-piercing bullet. Luxury SUV COMBAT has a protection against mines blasts and in any performance is able to stand the ram.
