Between October 1943 and November 1944, 172 “15 cm Schweres Infanteriegeschütz 33 (Sf) auf PzKpfw. 38 (t) Ausf M” have been manufactured by BMM.

The 12 tonnes SPG was propelled by a 150 hp Praga AC motor. The top speed was 35 km/h. 320 litres of gasoline enabled a range of 190 km.
The crew of four was cramped in the roofless fighting compartment with 18 shells. The primary weapon was the 150 mm Rheinmetall cannon L/12 designed in 1933 that fired a 38 kg shell, the muzzle velocity was 240 m/s and the maximum range was 4,650 m. The ubiquitous Rheinmetall 7.92 mm MG34 machine gun with 600 rounds was the secondary weapon.
This weapon system was very potent and this final version of the breed served firstly in USSR then in the West too as war reached its outcome.

Monroe Perdu: Cobbles Set 1

This is the first set in a series of 1/48 scale laser etched sheets. The set includes 3 sheets, with different pattern cobblestones. Sheet A is a fan pattern used widely in streets. Sheet B is a fan pattern used in streets and courtyards. Sheet C is a staggered pattern of rough stones used in streets and courtyards. Each sheet measures 5.75″ x 7.75″ (14.6 cm x 19.6 cm), large enough for any tank kit. The sheets are easily cut to custom shapes and can be painted with any medium you would use on paper, from watercolors to marker pens and colored pencils. Because the sheets are good quality paper, they lend themselves to customization and creative uses. For example, you can glue a sheet to a slab of carved foam and cut right through the sheet and foam to create bomb craters and battle damage. This makes them a lot more versatile than a cast resin sheet in the same scale. Full instructions, paint tips and color reference photos are included.
