This one is a MiniArts figure from another tank kit and I moved his arms around to a different position so it would fit my Alan Marder II D. Here's a shot of it after glueing it together and adjusting the arms.

Now it needs the shoulders carved to match up with the arms and a dab of filler in the cracks. The next step was to remove all those mold seams and give it some tuning up such as separating the fingers and useing the knife to go around the lapel and pocket flaps to give them a little more 3D effect.

When I finished all that he took a bath and got a couple of light Tamiya primer coats.

Thanks for looking in

Thanks very much Aleksandr. One thing that was suggested was to open up the cuffs and they would look better than the flat spot around the wrist.

I'm going to need that Luck,Thanks again

No Franco not gray but white Tamiya primer. The white balance screws up now and then and that's why the off color.

I primered it to help me see the trouble spots.

Yes, Tony I am absolutely for white primering! agree just thought from your photo it was gray smile maybe the room was a bit dark or camera with low flash .

You will proceed with Tamiya colors and brush ?

Franco i'm going through my paints now to find something close to what I want.(Tamiya-Lifecolor-Panzer Ace)acrylic base and then oils to shade. I've read over so many ways to do this it looks like i'll just more or less combo the job.huh

No telling what i'll wind up with.wink
