Up to now big and small manufacturers are selling model kits with water slide decals as standard. But many users tend to buy after-market dry transfers and masks set (especially for crosses ,stars and numbers).

The  question was: “Do you think it is time that manufacturers must adapt and include Dry transfers or Masks in their kits ? or maybe you think that traditional water slide decals work fine ?“

Has you can notice there is a real interest into Dry Transfers over the standard equiped Water Decals. But most likely, the best solution would be if producers could provide a combination of the above.

Masks for German Balkenkreuz , US stars and numbers. Dry Transfers for simple and monochrome logos while water decals for more colorful and complex drawings.
