A Master Piece. Absolutely!
We are talking about Volker Bembennek  that has reproduced a Bishop during the second offensive at El Alamein.
Tons of details and something that gives dynamism to the scene:  wind! Yes, grass, flags, scarfs , belts and what else effected is realistically simulating the presence of wind!  Figures and base works are also of an high level.

None the less there are a dozen of pages of great step by step photos and clear instructions.
If you are planning to build a Bishop, or any other vehicle,  this issue of AFV Modeller is a ‘must-have’.

After the impact of the first article is the turn of a Tamiya Churchill bridgelayer with a Model Asia conversion set.
Glenn Bowen keeps high the level of this issue due to his modelling skills. The conversion itself  it’s impressive especially when the bridge is  left open.  Also a great work on details and weathering which allowed the author to win a bronze at Euro Militaire contest.

One step down there is a Bronco YW-531C APC In-depth review by Mark Neville.  The Chinese Armoured Personnel Carrier has been reproduced knocked out during the Gulf War. BranchingOut is a cool guide on how to reproduce vegetation (bushes and trees), all is very clear and easy. Step by Step photos are provided.

For Sherman fans there is a huge walkaround of an M4 (105) Howtizer. Obviously you cannot miss the 1 / 16 Superking Tiger  project.

I deliberately left for last a consideration about the “SHOOT-OUT” article by Albert Tureczeck reviewing and comparing two similar kits: a sFH 18 and a SK 18 , one  Trumpeter and the other Dragon.
It’s a sort of comparative article that  itself makes no real ‘technical’ comparison between the two models, such as measurements and correctness of details. This, however, suggests that many if not all, magazines, never make comparisons between similar products head to head. Really a shame, it could be very attractive to buyers.

This issue of AFV Modeller is highly recommended, especially for the first two articles!
