Italeri: US Army M24 Chaffee
The light tank M24 Chafee has been a project required by the US Army at the end of the 2nd World War to replace the armored vehicles M 8 and M 20 Greyhound that were having serious problems to fight with similar vehicles of the German army.
The Chaffee, equipped with a 76 mm gun, was able to fulfill these requirements providing a vehicle with a faster speed and a better equipment. The M 24, mainly active in Italy and Germany during the final phase of the 2nd World War, has been in service with the Allies armies for many years in the Fifties, mainly with the French army during the Indochina war.

I wish someone would do a new molding of this one as it was one of the cool ones

Yes! This is a cool old kit. Best one ever when it came out!…don’t know if anyone else made any other. The French and then later ARVN had some colorful M24s. I built one in ARVN colors…”Vic Morrow”.

Wow! Thanks for the lead Scott! Is that 1/35th scale?

yup…1/35…..if you look farther down, they are also going to do a Buffalo MPVC as well. Between it and the 2 MATVs that were announced this week…modern armor is getting some great additions!
And while Panda Hobby is a new player, seems their version will be about $45MSRP, where as the Kinetic one will be $75MSRP, at least in North America….at that much of a difference in price, I will give the new kid on the block (Panda Hobby) a try with theirs.

As the saying goes Bob…”be careful what you wish for”…Still have boxes of Verlinden resin conversions for the Sherman in the closet! LoL.

thse sherman conversions can always find good use since you will never be able to buy every type of sherman made in plastic the resin still fills voids,, that is until someone maks an enjection duplex drive sherman
