Voyager: US Army 105mm Howitzer M2A1

The US Army 105mm Howitzer M2A1 entered production in 1941 during the WWII Conflict. It was used on the European and the pacific teathers and it became the standard US Army field gun for it’s qualities.
Later it continued it’s service during the Vietnam conflict and Korean war.

US Army has now retired the M2A1 from service, but it is still active in some other countries.
