Alliance Model Works: 7.5cm Pak 40/4 auf RSO
This set offers a correct size bed to replace the kit part. Constructed entirely out of brass (including sidings with etched woodgrains). With that in place, position of the gun is also corrected. The bed also features all the ammo lockers with racks, can store machined or plastic scale ammunitions. All covers (floor plates) are etched on both sides so they can be displayed up side down.
An additional benefit of the metal bed construction is that all the hinges are movable, and sidings can be lowered to 90 degrees.
The set also includes parts to detail the driver’s compartment. Hatches can be made movable. Different options are provided for engine access hatches.
Correct style of replacement seats in resin, complete with PE seatpans.

Just wonder what is a so-called “correct bed” refers to??
Dragon’s floor is correct in dimensions while AM’s looks quite suspicious(should be flush with the end of the chassis), also suspicious is the position of gun. Should this can be called “correct”, others can only regard AM a big joker!
It is okay for a manufacturer to boast a little for their products, but never irresponsible mislead to a customer.

Compared to scale drawing from Nuts and Bolts, Dragon’s bed is short by exactly 7.25mm.
Their model kit was designed according to the restored vehicle in Italy, the bed of that vehicle was built by museum staff. Not only is its dimension wrong, the sidings also don’t stop at 90 degrees when opened, as described in the same Nuts and Bolts book in detail.
Another simple way of rectifying this is looking at the seats. The restored vehicle used seats from M113. So Dragon mistakenly also modeled seats from M113 for this kit.
Furthermore, compare photographs of the vehicle taken during war time, it’s clear that the cover panels for the ammunition storage on the Dragon model kit are of incorrect sizes. The AM-Works bed, evidently also features all the ammo lockers matching sizes on those photos. If the bed is incorrect, how can all those positions match up? Magic?
Don’t forget about the missing C beam in Dragon’s kit. Dragon’s chassis is more or less correct, with small problems on the misshapen exhaust tank and from tow hooks. With the AM-Works bed, you’ll also find that the rear distances between exhaust pipe, bed end and rear siding all match up as on the photographs in Nuts & Bolts. Also magic?
