Week-end review…

Scale Military Modeller issue 476 has landed on my desk, with loads of interesting articles.

This month I have found very interesting articles.  In particular one is from Aleksander Pocuc explaining how to obtain an intersting finish on the monochrome Hetzer Sd.Kfz 138/2. Andy Renshaw has built Academy’s Israely M151 Shimra with a nice load of baggage. I have also enjoyed the Panzer III ausf J “Demolition Controler” by Pawel Rzymski.

As usual Scale Military Modeller reserves one full page to IPMS UK, IMPS USA, AMPS and MAFVA clubs. This is a clever thing if we want to let this hobby grow up.

Best news comes from SMMI editor: Andy Evans, so I will report some lines from his editorial:

“… from January 2011 issue, we will be moving up to one-hundred pages. And it doesnt stop there! We will also have a new look, with an expanded news, previews and reviews section, plus even more features, with extended sections, and regular “SMMI Specials” where we will be looking in depth at a particular type of AFV, with historic details, model builds, scale plans and colour profiles…“.

So now I am curious on what they will be able to release on January. I am looking forward for a good job.
