Dragon 6420: Marder III H Fgst. 38t Ausf.E REVIEW

Marder III H Fgst. 38t Ausf.E

Marder III H Fgst. 38t Ausf.E

As is not surprising to many regular readers of model reviews, many times we reviewers use “cut and paste” to create new reviews based on sprue-swapping from older kits and on occasion we forget which variant we are reviewing! In this kit, apparently DML made the same mistake as the main sprue for the kit which was newly cut – Sprue G – was left labeled for the “Pzkw. 38(t) Ausf. G”. Nice to know they can make the same goofs we do!

Mush like their contemporaries during WW2, the Germans continuously tweaked their designs and their methods of production, creating a bewildering variety of sub-variants of a given type of AFV. In the case of their extemporized self-propelled anti-tank weapons, these changes would coincide with the chassis upon which they were based if the main vehicle was still in production, or with improvements made during the production/conversion cycles.
